Fire Emblem: Binding Blade

Fire Emblem: Fūin no Tsurugi

The continent of Elibe is in turmoil. King Zephiel, ruler of the militant country of Bern, has initiated a violent and bloody campaign against the neighboring lands of Illia and Sacae. After slaughtering their people by the thousands, he now heads for the nearby land of Pherae, a land governed by those he once called friends.

Roy, the son of the Marquess of Pherae, Eliwood, has taken up arms against the invading forces. Using his father's assets and resources to fund an army that can overthrow Zephiel, Roy seeks to put an end to his reign once and for all.

Soon, young Roy meets Princess Guinevere, the sister of Zephiel. She is plagued by guilt over the evil he has wrought on the world, and vows not to let her brother's campaign end in victory. She and Roy are joined by Lilina, a girl whose father, Marquess Ostia, was brutally murdered by Zephiel's forces.

Together, they set out on an epic quest across the continent, meeting many friends and foes, together learning that some bonds cannot be broken, while others are not made to withstand the test of time.

Fire Emblem: Binding Blade is set around 20 years following the events of Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword.
