Prologue

Find yourself thrust into Prince Marth's epic story when starting a new game in Normal difficulty mode. Here you will be introduced to gameplay basics as the story's Prologue unfolds.

Side Stories

At certain points in the game you can participate in side stories unrelated to the main plot. Find new maps, occasionally introducing you to new characters that can join your party.

Saving

Chapter Save:

Progress is saved each time you complete a chapter. The game can be continued from here as many times as you want.

Map Save:

A number of Savepoints are available on the map, but progress can only be saved once per Savepoint. The game can be continued from here as many times as you want.

Suspend Point:

You can suspend your game at anytime from anywhere on the map. However, when loading different save data or starting over from the beginning, your Suspend Point will be lost.

Closing the Nintendo DS system will put the game into Sleep Mode. Turning off the power or removing the DS Game Card while in Sleep Mode will prevent you from restarting where you left off.

Six Difficulty Levels

Normal:

Hard:

This mode is recommended for beginners, or those new to the Fire Emblem series.

This mode is recommended for those in search of a serious challenge. Enemies in this mode can be set to one of five additional levels of difficulty.

Game Play Screen

The number of enemies and their positions are the same in both Normal and Hard mode but their weapons and strength will differ. Also, enemy reinforcements appear from the beginning of the enemy's turn when playing in Hard mode.
