to prepare for battle. The Preparations screen is where you pick units, equip them, and place them on the map. There are five options on the Preparations screen: Pick Units, Trade, Fortune, Check Map, and Save. Each option is discussed in detail in the following pages.

When you are done preparing for battle, save your game. This option will save you a lot of time if you need to restart the chapter for any reason.
