Fire Emblem Gaiden
Fire Emblem Gaiden
The continent of Valentia was once a single kingdom united, but over time the kingdom split into two territories: The Northern Kingdom of Rigel, and the Southern Kingdom of Zofia. The Kingdom of Rigel worships the Dark God
Duma, while the Kingdom of Zofia worships the Earth Goddess
Mila.
The Kingdom of Rigel sets its sights on invading the kingdom of Zofia, eventually resulting in their success with the King's death.
Alm, a young man from Ram Village, arises to fight back. In lieu of his grandfather's retirement as a General of Zofia, he sets off to put an end to the forces of darkness for good. He is joined by a few of his close companions, and during his travels he meets many more that expand the forces of the liberation army as they set their eyes on destroying the forces of evil.
While on his journey,
Alm encounters grotesque undead monsters that have been reanimated by the power of dark forces. Things take an even darker turn when the Earth Goddess
Mila goes missing, suspected to be the work of the Dark God
Duma.
Celica, a red haired priestess in service to
Mila, departs from the Temple of Mila in response to
Mila's sudden disappearance.
Both
Alm and
Celica must raise an army to defeat Rigel and the Dark God that is behind the conflict. If they should fail, not only will they perish, but their world will forever be engulfed in evil.
Fire Emblem Gaiden is a side story to the very first Fire Emblem game,
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragons and Blade of Light and the remake,
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon.
